"As a one of the first on location, bridal beauty companies in the Philadelphia region, you can imagine I encountered a lot of hiccups along my 15+ year journey.
I've found myself in a burnt-out, survival mode on many occasions. Working 65+ weddings a season myself and feeling like I barely made enough to support myself. I supplemented with nannying for families during the week, and the career I was building was looked at as a side job. I was overworked, overwhelmed, but thought that was the "normal" as a small business owner... the HUSTLE culture.
